Privacy notice
Last updated 28 August 2026
This notice explains what Gibraltar Theory collects when you sit a practice theory test, why we hold it, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who holds your data
The operator of Gibraltar Theory is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@yourfrontdesk.app.
What we collect
Before a test begins we ask for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, which is optional and can be left blank
When you finish a test we record:
- Which paper you sat, how many questions, your score, whether it was a pass, and how long you took
- Each question you were asked, the options you chose, and whether the answer was right
We do not ask for your licence number, your address, your date of birth, or anything else. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no third party analytics on this site.
What stays on your own device
Your study progress, your past results and any unfinished test are kept in your browser using local storage. That information never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Why we hold it
- To show you your result and let you pick a test back up where you left off
- To see which questions candidates get wrong most often, so the material can be improved
We rely on your consent, given when you enter your details, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
Who processes it for us
The database is run by Supabase, London (eu-west-2). The site itself is hosted by Vercel. Both act on our instructions only.
How long we keep it
For as long as the service runs, so that trends across candidates stay meaningful. If you ask us to delete your data we will do so, and we will confirm once it is gone.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete everything we hold about you
- Stop using your data, or give you a copy of it
Email info@yourfrontdesk.app from the address you used, and we will act within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority.
Young candidates
Theory test candidates are often sixteen or seventeen. We collect no more from a young person than from anyone else, and a parent or guardian can make any of the requests above on their behalf.
This is a study aid
Gibraltar Theory is not run by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Government of Gibraltar or its Department of Transport. Passing a test here is not a qualification. See the terms of use.
